With an in-ground radio pet fence is it possible to create a passable "gate" by twisting 3 wires instead of 2?

I have uploaded a picture of my situation below:

Best way to keep your dog in a safe place during work.?

I own a pom, chi, and german sheppard/mix, my roommate owns a chi/mix. (I know, a zoo!) She works M-F 9 – 6 and I work M – TH 1 – 12. A friend stops by some days and lets them out. The smaller ones are good about holding their wee wee, but the german sheppard is still a puppy and uses the bathroom in one certain room and the smaller dogs have followed behind her and it’s that one room, bad thing is.. it’s carpet! We just moved into a house so we haven’t built a fence yet. What is the best remedy to get the horrible smell out and to maybe keep them confined to the kitchen (it’s a large kitchen) during the day? Or some good pet gates brand, good for a hyper german sheppard, also. Serious answers only, pretty please! :) Thank you!!
Thank you so far. In a way, I’m against crating because I’m never sure if a friend will come back and let them out. Thanks for all your concerns and answers so far though!!

What does this dream mean? I just emailed this to my ex. (Not gay, but a player). We have a child together.?

i just had the most vivid dream. it is a school morning, so i have to hurry up, but it was wild. i dreamt that you and i were camping somewhere sandy and warm-no sam in this one. you were sleeping about four feet away, in a different bed on the ground. suddenly there was this snake in my bed. it was big, and under my legs and it was kind of purring. it was moving around but it didn’t bite me. i was trying to get your attention without scaring it into biting me. you woke up and came and got the snake. you had two snakes as pets, one tamed. i was all horrified and backing away from the snake. you said, "this is the one that is only half tamed." then you put it in its cage with the other big, long snake, the one that had not escaped, and that was tame. and then you flopped right back down in your bed to sleep like you do. so i was sitting there in my bed, wide awake. i got up and walked around. then i was on the other side of a fence looking through the metal interlocking parts of the gate and i saw you sleeping there and a man came up and started trying to have sex with you in the bed. and i thought you were going to wake up and deck him. but you woke up kind of surprised, and then you two started having sex. then you both saw me at the same time. i was watching, transfixed, horrified, and really surprised. and you both stopped and looked at me, for about a minute, and then you kept going, like you both had decided it was okay anyway that i was there. so i grabbed my purse and my mind was racing and i got out of there and didn’t watch anymore. and i was walking around kind of in a daze, and after about 10 minutes-i guess the time it took to get done, you came alone and found me. you were very calm, and you said, where are you going? and i said, i am going to find a bar. and you said, let me come with you. then we were in a car and you were driving, and i asked when you’d started sleeping with men. you said in thailand. and i was sitting there next to you in the car, kind of in shock. you were very calm, driving and smoking. not hostile, just looking straight ahead at the road. i kind of made a feeble joke…i was sort of trying to tease you. i said, well thai guys have little —– so that would be a good place to start. you didn’t answer, but didn’t get mad. you said calmly, "well men give better blow jobs, that is for sure." and then i said, how many people know? i was fully expecting you to say no one, but you said, "about 50%." (lots of halves and twos in this dream). so then we found these docks and there was a crab feast going on. white crowd, american, sunburned, summer clothes, waiting in line to get in. i said to you, well, i already have one ticket. it looks like they are sold out. but you wanted to do something together, and you wanted to come to the crab feast. so you walked over to the middle aged hostess, and i could see you were sort of charming her, because the crab feast was sold out, but she was trying to tell you how to still get a ticket. it was really crowded, and i was thinking, well, if we get a table i guess we will get a chance to talk it out. and i was watching you talk to her and look back at the line behind you, stretching outside onto the docks. and i could feel my heart softening. and i was thinking, well, i can support him in this, in his life choices. and i was looking at you affectionately and thinking, wow, this is going to change things, but we can be friends through this. and there was sort of a relief around the fact that you were sleeping with a lot of guys, instead of girls. i was thinking. we can still be friends. but the line to the crab banquet was long, and you were still talking to the hostess, and then the alarm woke me up.

What do you guys think of this story?

I’m an atheist and i thought it was good :)

      The Pearly Gates

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that his faithful dog had been dead for many years. He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate in the arch made from mother of pearl, and the street that led to the gate made from pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, "Excuse me, where are we?" "This is heaven, sir," the man answered. "Wow! Would you happen to have some water? We have traveled far," the man said. "Of course, sir. Come right in, and I’ll have some ice water brought right up." The man gestured, and the gate began to open. "Can my friend," gesturing toward his dog, "come in, too?" the traveler asked. "I’m sorry, sir, but we don’t accept pets."

The man thought a moment, remembering all the years this dog remained loyal to him and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going. After another long walk he came to a plain dirt road which led through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence.

As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book. "Excuse me!" he called to the reader. "Do you have any water? We have traveled far." "Yes, sure, there’s a pump over there." The man pointed to a place that couldn’t be seen from outside the gate. "Come on in and help yourself." How about my friend here?" the traveler gestured to his dog. "There should be a bowl by the pump; he is welcome to share."

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveler filled the bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree waiting for them.

"What do you call this place?" the traveler asked. "This is heaven," was the answer. "Well, that’s confusing," the traveler said. "The man down the road said that was heaven, too."

"Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That’s hell."

"Doesn’t it make you mad for them to use your name like that?"

"No. We’re just happy that they screen out the folks who’d leave their best friends behind in exchange for material things. Life is not about getting what you want, it’s wanting what you already have."

Where can I get those freestanding baby gates that act like a play pen?

I don’t know what they’re called, but I’ve seen what appear to be freestanding baby gates and I was interested in purchasing one. It’s like a little fence of interlocking pieces you can put together to make a little play section for babies and toddlers. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I actually want to get it for my dog at night because she’s an old dog and she’s have incontinence issues, and I want to gate her into the kitchen with her dog bed so I don’t wake up to find she’s relieved herself on the carpets. It’s an issue I’ve discussed with my vet and she suggested gating her in, but I can’t use regular baby gates that fit into doorways because the kitchen is part of a great room and there’s no second doorway. So, if anyone can provide a link of where I can get one of these little indoor fence things for kids, let me know because I can’t find them anywhere. I would have asked this in the pet section, but I think parents would know where to find this better. Thanks.
Thanks for all the responses so far. And she’s a Boston Terrier so she’s not too big at all. Oh, and that was a typo above because I meant to say she has incontinence issues not she’s have.

        Is this discrimination?

I have a son diagnosed as "moderate to severe Autistic". I receive SSI for him, as he is disabled. My family lives in an apartment owned by Humility of Mary Housing, a single parent ‘program’ run by a religious organization. To keep my apartment, I have been required to attend two meetings a month at a local church, and told that childcare is provided to kids for free during meetings. However, even though my son’s disability is known, he has been refused childcare due to behaviors associated with his condition for the past ten months. Arent they supposed to provide ‘reasonable accomodation’ if it’s due to his disability? In addition, in September I asked my ‘case manager’ to help me look into a way to get approved to get a service animal, and she said pets aren’t allowed and never looked into it at all. It took three months to get a gap in the fence fixed in the backyard; meanwhile, there were locks on the gate and my child kept escaping. I was told by maintenance to "watch your kid then", but they came and fixed it about a month later. I had no keys to the locks, so I had to run through my apartment to catch my child. I have heard phrases such as, "we have no previous experience with kids like him", "keep looking for help" yet not assisted in finding any when the program is supposed to exist to help me, etc. Wood went bad on the front porch, and a portion of that wasn’t replaced because no one "should walk there", yet my child nested in that spot with toys and they were aware… and didn’t fix that area. I need advice… is this fair, to do these things to us? Is this discrimination based on his disability? Or is it me overreacting, because I don’t think so.
